PAROLA TREATMENTS

Tooth extraction

Discuss removing a damaged tooth and the options for your next steps.

When might extraction be discussed?

Your dentist may consider removing a tooth that cannot be restored, or a tooth causing other problems. An examination and, when needed, imaging help assess the options. Ask whether treatment to retain the tooth is possible.

Your appointment

The dentist will explain the proposed procedure, anaesthetic options, possible risks and alternatives. The approach depends on the tooth and surrounding tissues; some cases need a surgical procedure or referral.

Recovery and follow-up

You will receive instructions for your own case, including what to expect, cleaning, eating and when to contact the clinic. Ask about follow-up and, if relevant, replacement options before you leave.

Questions for your dentist

Ask about suitability, alternatives, risks, expected visits, the full cost and aftercare. Your plan is confirmed after an assessment.
